In winter 2024, I got the opportunity to intern at National University Singapore - Institute of Systems Science. My main tasks involved 2 aspects: Conducting research for the department & Designing for course facilitation.
During the 4 months, I took the initiatives to pick up some projects that I think is beneficial to my own career development and the company.
Designed mobile application for UX Class to improve excising routine for working professional
As part of the course project, I used my work for each stage of the design process to facilitate the students working on theirs. Besides this, I also created variety of content for the class, including graphics, videos etc.
Designed and developed website for Web Analytics Class
Conducted research on various UX Design topics
Including UX Design under AI’s Influence, How to Design for Aging Population in Singapore etc.

Designing Mobile Application - Daily
During my internship, one of my main responsibilities was to facilitating different courses and looking for new opportunities. In a Digital Experience Design class, I was amazed by how students were able to design different solutions driven from the same problem - working professionals might have more restrictions when exercising compared to other demographics.
Using this as an inspiration, I started to design my own mobile application for working professionals (specifically in Singapore). Here are the key metrics of the projects:
Conducted 10+ user interviews on ISS Colleagues
They are in different age groups, occupations and family dynamics. I got insights on their exercising habits and the apps they use to help them achieving the goal.
Built design systems for the application
As I continued to design a website that used the same theme, I created a design system to make my work easier!
Created Information Architecture, User Flow, Low-fi Prototype
